British Standards Institution (BSI) certified information security and business continuity
In 2010, we were the first company worldwide to have our integrated management system for information security (ISMS) and business continuity (BCMS) certified by “The British Standards Institution” (BSI). Since our clients have the highest expectations for security and availability, naturally we do too. The business relationship we enjoy with our clients is based on mutual trust and involves a professional range of services that have confidentiality, integrity, and reliability as essential elements.
The BSI certification confirmed that F24 operates an integrated management system for critical business processes in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO 22301:2012 international standards. The certifications apply to both F24 AG and most of our subsidiaries.

It is the integrated approach that underwrites the high quality of our services. FACT24, our solution for proactive crisis management and emergency notification, was developed in order to operate according to these high security standards. In any emergency situation, FACT24 is still available even when local systems are not, and all sensitive information is protected in line with international standards of “good practice”.
In addition to the annual checks carried out by an independent, accredited institution, we have also achieved successful ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO 22301:2012 recertification in 2013, 2016 and 2019.

In crisis management, more than in almost any other situation, companies need a reliable partner and must be able to rely on their systems and expertise. This means that providing a crisis management solution that is as fail-safe as possible is our top priority. We do this with a highly sophisticated security and backup system with multiple redundancies across the entire process chain (locations – systems – network providers). This has enabled us to firmly guarantee the availability of our systems in the supply contract. We have been recording and documenting the availability of FACT24 on a monthly basis since December 2006 and have made this data transparent and accessible.
The telephony systems are subject to constant internal quality assurance and monitoring according to the defined standards. The availability of our Internet systems is verified by an external systems house.
